Water can be much more than its seems

It flows down the mountains ,the valleys and the streams

A precious resource that must be preserved

A wonderous life source we all must conserve

To turn out the faucet to run without thinking

May lead to having no water for bathing or drinking

We are responsible to watch and protect

To treat our water with the greatest respect

We can fix leaks,install fixtures, take short showers

Use the right amount when watering our flowers

The future of our island requires us now

To be thoughtful with water,to ask why and how

We can preserve it for our children and theirs

So they grow up thinking that somebody cares!
